Some of you may have had trouble tracking down the recently published New Great Book of Corgi 1956-2010, by Marcel van Cleemput, in time for Christmas. Well, it seems there’s a good reason for this. Chris Shelley, who works at publisher New Cavendish, has revealed that the initial order placed with the distributor in Thailand (ACC/NBN) unexpectedly sold out, to use a common phrase - due to popular demand!

Shelley went on to mention that Hornby might have some stock remaining of the book, but that ACC/NBN are not expecting to have any more stock until the end of January. Even Amazon is reporting the book to be unavailable, although the option to buy from private sellers ‘used and new’, an increasingly popular choice, remained possible at the time of writing.
