A new DVD charting the role and development of British tanks during World War 2 has just been released. With footage of the fighting machines from the Tog 1 to the Comet, the 127-minute film, entitled British Tanks of the Second World War, details how at the start the British machines were crude and largely based on those used during the Great War, but advanced dramatically in terms of firepower, manoeuvrability and crew protection. The DVD is released by Cherry Red/Strike Force Entertainment.
