Micro Models Bedford SB

 

David Wallace offers a quick guide to differentiating between the originals, the re-issues and the copies

 

As well as a fine range of cars, Micro Models of Australia made a fine Bedford SB. It was produced in a choice of three different colours: red, green and blue. All had silver on the lower body and featured ‘Micro Bus Lines’ script tampo printed on each side below the windows.

Sold as toys at the time, these buses were manufactured in Melbourne from 1952 to 1961 by Goodwood Productions for John Brent and Company, who were probably the distributors.
