Classics on the Common
Once a year Harpenden Common in Hertfordshire comes alive for a half day display of over 1,000
classic cars and other four-wheelers, plus in excess of 250 motorcycles and scooters. Past events have seen Chevy Bel Airs rubbing shoulders with 1927 Trojans and rare 1978 Mantra Bagheeras parked alongside ‘59 Berliets -
petrol head heaven doesn’t get much better than this!
This year’s event, on Wednesday, July 25, starts at 2pm, and because it is held on common ground there is no entrance fee, although donations to the organisers, the Harpenden Village Rotary Club, will be appreciated.
If you go along, please take a camera, we’d love to see your pictures!
