Forward Models, die-cast manufacturer of the 1:76 Birmingham Standard bus models, is inviting Birmingham City Transport collectors along to a special get together on
August 18 2013 from 11.30am onwards at-
The Aston Manor Road Transport Museum,
This will be a sub event of the rally planned by the Museum for that day, where restored coaches from all over the country will be on exhibit.
By way of as a special thank you to all members of the Forward Association (a group of Birmingham City Transport enthusiasts founded to support the efforts of Forward Models in producing its 1:76 Birmingham standard model buses) and customers in general, Derek is offering FREE tickets to the event, which can be ordered at email@example.com or by calling him on 07971 456760 (voicemail - please leave your address and the number of tickets required).
The Birmingham standard buses, some of which had the distinctive ‘tin front’, were considered the finest public service vehicles of their time and Forward Models now has ten 1:76 versions on sale, all depicted travelling different routes. More are planned, including some in Edinburgh and Newcastle colours, and pre-production samples of the next releases are hoped to be on display at the event.
