The Chipmunk was the RAF basic training aircraft for many years. Kind to trainee pilots, it has taken the same sort of affection that the earlier Tiger Moth had in many hearts. Many are still flying, now in private hands. A big difference was of course the enclosed cockpit which was much kinder. With a fixed undercarriage, the white, light grey and dayglo red RAF colour scheme, this is really a very nice looking model which I am sure will prove popular. It also scored top marks in Dom's ratings. starthumbs up
