Leyland PD3/Queen Mary: Southdown Motor Services Reader offer bus

Model Collector has once again teamed up with Corgi to bring you a fantastic reader

offer. A 1/76th scale Leyland PD3/Queen Mary in Southdown Motor Services livery will be strictly limited to just 2,000 pieces and only available through this magazine.

Fleet number 283 was delivered to Southdown between March-June 1965. The BUF-C's featured screw-out quarterlights in nearside windows, extra pearlescent roof panel (making three in total), one piece windscreen and a new seat moquette pattern known as 'Cirrus'.

When not engaged on stage services, Queen Marys would be used on school/works duties or relief trips. In 1969, 283 was used as support to a Tunbridge Wells bound single decker as far as Hailsham. Pictured is the vehicle type modelled, destination will be Hailsham Relief service 192.

Models will be charged at £19.99 each (plus postage of £1.50 per model for the UK or £2.50 per model requiring overseas despatch).
